This has nothing to do with the dealership or people but I find it bad service from Acura/Honda that a recall of the right taillight is fixed but the left taillight that has the same problem is not fixed. You would think that grown-ups, service personnel, mechanics etc, would be allowed to let the manufacturer know about this shortcoming. Maybe it is time to see if another manufacturer reacts better.
Excellent service as usual and with the Corvid -19 situation the picking up of my vehicle and dropping off was very safe and hassle free.
Stephen is very knowledgeable and helpful. Explains exactly what they are going to do and how much it will cost. I had to remind him that I have no charge oil changes for 5 years and also the price for tire rotation was going to be higher than advertised online. He adjusted the price without question. I appreciate that he wiped down any areas that I was likely to touch in order to prevent the spread of the corona virus. The car was also did a great job.
The appointment was scheduled as a response to a comment made in a Facebook post. I received a call within 30 minutes of the post to schedule the appointment. I arrived to drop off my RDX and pick up the loaner. The process was thoughtful for sanitizing and respectful of physical distancing and efficient. We bought our first Acura MDX in 2001 before the south side Acura dealership existed. As soon as it was open we started bringing our car for maintenance there because it is much closer the our house. In the past 4 years I have purchased two vehicles from Southview Acura. The sales experience is efficient and fair. My reason for returning and purchasing another vehicle in April was the speed of the process, the ability to negotiate a fair price, and the quality of the vehicles. I recently purchased a nice MDX Elite but had to comeback a couple of days due to the battery not holding charge. I met Service Rep Steven who was very positive and ensured that my concerns were met very promptly!. The Service Team installed security wheel nuts for me and Steven kept me continually updated within that 24 hours period. He was always pleasant on the phone, all smiles when I came in to pick up my car and showed me additional features of the car that I was not even aware of. Very good customer service I experienced! This is my 3rd vehicle with Southview Acura, the service team sets them apart from other dealerships. TThe service department and Steven inpartticular are always friendly even on cold dark mornings. The service is always as expected with no hidden or surprise items. Any work over and above the service code is cleared with you prior to work being done. The servicce team ensure you are taken care of promptly and provided coffee or tea or other beverage while you wait.
