  The all new 2019 RDX has been redesigned to break boundaries and grab attention. Inspired by Acura’s supercar, the NSX, the 2019 RDX features a low, wide stance with sharp character lines along the front and rear fenders, as well as hood bulges that are visible from inside the cabin. Acura’s Diamond Pentagon Grille is now flanked by newly designed Jewel Eye headlights, which boast seven LED light elements. Wide air intakes inspired by the NSX feed air efficiently around the front wheels and down the side of the body of the vehicle, while the new double-ring rear frame design offers more body rigidity, which means more precise handling and an even quieter cabin. The wheelbase is now 66mm longer, offering a more comfortable cabin with more space.

  All new sport-inspired seats designed specifically for the RDX are finished with leather and are more intricately sculpted featuring a lightweight ultra high steel frame with improved lateral support. All grades of the 2019 RDX have 16-way power seat adjustability not only on the driver’s seat but front passengers as well.

  Inspired by the NSX, the 2019 RDX has a high-deck floating centre console, with an Integrated Dynamics System control knob which allows drivers to quickly switch between four different driving modes: Snow, Comfort, Sport and Sport+. On the centre console is the highly anticipated Touchpad Interface, dubbed the Intuitive True Touchpad Interface. The True Touchpad features a 10.2 inch HD centre display, which is mounted on the very top of the console, and is an Android based operating system. Using this touchpad does not require the user to locate a cursor on the screen, which allows the driver to operate the screen without having to look down. With the addition of the natural language voice recognition system, the 2019 RDX is an innovative ride which offers the latest technology while being extremely intuitive, allowing the driver to focus on the road.

  With the A-Spec package, the new 2019 RDX also marks the debut of the Acura ELS Studio 3D Audio, featuring premium audio, a 16 channel, 710 watt system, with four ultra slim highline ceiling mounted speakers. In place of the standard chrome finish is a gloss black finish, specifically on the front grille. Shark grey 20 inch alloy wheels replace the standard, and A-Spec badging is placed on the front quarter panels and tailgate.

  Seats are finished in black or red leather with premium black ultra suede inserts with contrast stitching. The leather wrapped steering features gloss black trim, and the paddle shifter has a metal plating finish. The centre console is finished with real aluminum, along with the doors and instrument panel.
